What is a D.O.C.? QDMC Inc. is the Ducati Official Club (D.O.C.) for Qld and is the only Qld Ducati club officially recognised by Ducati which was formed by enthusiasts who share a love for the Reds from Borgo Panigale. Each official Ducati club around the world is organised in a structured way, with a president as the figurehead and an alignment to a Ducati dealer (Motorcycles 'R' Us) that supports each other operating in full harmony with the values of the brand, promoting activities, events and experiences that strengthen the sense of belonging to the Ducatisti community. Joining QDMC Inc. (D.O.C.) means being part of your local Ducati community, supporting your local Ducati dealership and joining an international network where passion, sharing and the spirit of family are at the heart of everything.
Why join a D.O.C.? Being part of QDMC Inc. allows members a unique and direct insight into the Ducati world with exclusive experiences, benefits and opportunities to come together and celebrate in a shared passion for Ducati. In joining and becoming active within QDMC Inc. you will experience the opportunity to explore free and exclusive access to restricted areas within the Ducati factory, access to the pits, meet the race teams and attend premium hospitality during sporting events, priority invination to attend special members-only events along with the opportunity to participate in regular ride event's organised by QDMC inc., Motorcycles 'R' Us and Ducati.
Ducati and their Official Clubs around the world celebrate 25 Years Together in 2025, for this special milestone, QDMC Inc., Motorcycles 'R' Us and Ducati have created a dedicated logo, symbolising a quarter century of shared excitement and unforgettable adventures.
What does being part of QDMC Inc and the Club President mean to me? Going back a few years now, I remember asking myself, Bill, what's the point of being in a Ducati club if its not the official Ducati club! I am extremely proud to have been part of the team that established QDMC Inc. that then went on to gain official D.O.C. recognition from Ducati through their exclusive D.O.C. numbering program, #338. In being elected as the club's 1st President, ensuring Qld Ducatisti have an ongoing official D.O.C. is extremely important to me, as is the close relationship we have established with Anthony and the team at Motorcycles 'R' Us (2024 Ducati dealer of the year). Working as a trio and guided by the QDMC Inc. amazing committee and ever-growing diverse membership, I'm confident that Qld will be well represented and continue to have a strong alignment with Ducati.
What's next for QDMC Inc.? Continue growing and adding value to the membership, this is the priority. While ambitious, ensuring that ALL Qld Ducatisti are part of the official D.O.C. community has to be the goal! We have a long way to go and I'm sure there are a few obstacles to navigate, however, Qld Ducatisti has a proud and long Ducati history and I'm positive it's strong enough to overcome anything and will eventually bring all Qld Ducatist together.
Sponsorship is key to success. We have already locked in some fantastic sponsors, and we are looking at partnering with others that align with our core values, we equally need to ensure a return on investment for those sponsors through actively promoting and supporting sponsors of the club.
Like Ducati, as the Qld official D.O.C. we are always looking to evolve and push forward in ways to be better, be the best, therefore we encourage all Ducatisti not only to join QDMC Inc, but more, get pro-actively involved in making this a club for ALL Qld Ducatisti!!!
